We keep refunds simple and transparent. This page explains how deposit and payment refunds work.
What’s refundable
- Security deposit (₦80,000–₦150,000): released after return and inspection when no extra charges apply.
- Fees billed in error: refunded once verified.
What’s not refundable
- Completed rental days and properly applied fees.
- Service charges for driver-error events (e.g., wrong fuel, lost keys).
- Fines, tolls, and third-party charges passed to us.
Refund timeline
- Inspection: at return (or within 24–48h if after hours).
- Processing: we release the deposit within 1–3 business days after inspection.
- Bank time: your bank/payment provider may add extra days to display funds.
How we pay refunds
- Returned to the original payment method only.
- We’ll email a refund confirmation with a reference.
Deductions (if any)
- Extra day(s) or late return.
- Fuel shortfall or missing items (tools, documents).
- Cleaning/valeting for heavy soiling or smoke.
- Damage charges/excess (we’ll send a statement with photos).
How to check status
- Reply to your booking email or contact support with your booking number.
- We’ll share the refund reference and expected timing.
